Broan 424204 SS Hood

It's a nice looking hood but is constructed with light weight stainless and the interior has a plastic fan housing and truthfully is pretty cheaply constructed. I would not recommend this to anyone. Also, the instruction indicated it included light bulbs but the bulbs were not in the package. I was disappointed, for $220 I thought it would be a little more solid, I was wrong.

awesome range hood

This is a great product. It was easy to install (for my husband, ha ha) and is very quiet on the lower fan setting (easy to leave on, and I have dog ears). It sucks up the steam from the back burners really well on low, and high is louder but you have to hang on to your hat!

Very Good Product for the Price

I ordered this product a few weeks ago and it arrived within the estimated delivery period. I installed it myself, well, with a couple helpers during the hookup stage. It is quite easy to DIY. If you are a strong person, you may not even need a helper. When operating the product at the speed 1, it is so quiet that you do not even know it is running. Of course, the CFM is not as large as speed 2. The speed 2 is efficient enough for sir fry, or deep fry dishes. It cannot compare with those range hoods with CFM at 400+, 600+, or higher. However, it is a very good product for the price. I recommend this product if the fund is tight.
